first off let me just say sorry if i miss some information or events/games coming up, only means i was not aware.

High school/ youth:

Los gatos and many youth clubs have registration now open and opening in the coming weeks. please feel free to check out any number of the clubs in the area, and contact each individual in charge if you have any questions,comment, or concerns.

also Los gatos youth rugby will be starting a santa cruz based u19 club if you live in the area and wish to give rugby a try. and all/any female player interested regardless of age is welcome to join ether club.

THE 75's

The american outlaws, Sam's Army  two supporter groups for USA soccer that have time and time again come through and offer usa a great home field advantage regardless of venue through out the country, seattle, Columbus, Portland, Chicago, Kansas city. we all know there are plenty of issues going on on the field and plenty of politics going on behind the scenes but what about in the stands. USA soccer has Crew stadium as a go to place to play matches when support is needed. USA rugby hasnt necessarily packed the house in various venues. so far we have huston as perfect location the last two years, charleston has done good but out side of those two locations what else has there been? Santa Clara hosted a few years back and had over 10k show up and from what i can recall there was hardly any advertisement done for the game and if there had been half the effort given to it like in Huston im sure there could of been even more to show up.

what i am mainly writing about is why don't we the fans passionate or just casual create a supporters group for the eagles, something where fans alike can meet up and gather together before home games, organize meetings at local bars or resturnats for those of us who have little ones. the AO's each have a go to pub to watch soccer matches at and if are to get more people turned on to rugby and show networks that there is a demand then we should each localy begin to organize with each other and have a place of gatherings for each test match or major set of games, six nations, rugby championship or Heineken cup finals.

im not saying lets build TIFO's and bring smoke bombs to games, although it wouldn't hurt , but rather lets better organize our self's for the betterment of our country, for all four major national teams, give them a home advantage worthy of our foes to be afraid of.

i hope to create a Facebook page dedicated to such thing and I am suggesting The 75's as a name, but open to better choices of course. 75 for the creation of USA Rugby organization.

PAC WEST RUGBY

PAC WEST RUGBY CONFRENCE   

Welcome to the Pacific West Rugby Conference.  The Conference was set up in 2012 with the change to the collegiate USA Rugby structure.  The Conference is a Division 1 AA conference and competes for the USA Rugby National Rugby Competition.  The Conference covers the region on Northern California and Northern Nevada. The teams that are included in the Conference are the following:

1. San Jose State Spartans
2. Chico State University
3. UC Santa Cruz
4. San Francisco State University
5. Stanford University
6. Fresno State University
7. University of Nevada, Reno

The winner of the Conference automatically qualifies for the USA Rugby Div 1 AA National Championship that will be held in May.

UNITED YOUTH RUGBY

UNITED YOUTH RUGBY is dedicated to growing youth rugby within the USA. There are thousands of enthusiast rugby followers within the USA that would love to start a youth rugby club, but do not know how to do it.

How do you recruit? How do you get fields? How do you screen and certify coaches? How do you register players? What are the pitfalls of starting clubs? Do I need EMTS? What administrative work do I need to do?

United Youth Rugby takes care all of these issues and allows volunteers to coach rugby.
